| Clarice E. Luckstead, 78, of Marion, and formerly of Olin, Iowa, died Friday, April 25, 2008, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, following a brief illness.
A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at Lahey Funeral Home in Olin, with Pastor Mark Geffaler officiating. Burial was in the Olin Cemetery, Olin, Iowa. Friends called from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Lahey Funeral Home in Olin. Memorials are preferred.
Clarice E. Luckstead was born September 15, 1929, in Anamosa, the daughter of Rolly John Milton Luckstead and Mildred Magdelina (Hinrichsen) Luckstead. She attended school in Madison Center and graduated from Olin High School in 1947. She then attended AIC in Davenport.
Clarice worked at Container Corp. of America in Rock Island, Illinois, and later transferred to Chicago. After retiring, she moved back home to care for her parents.
She liked to work crossword puzzles and play cards. She enjoyed watching game shows and loved to cook.
She is survived by one brother, Milton (Bette) Luckstead of Martelle, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents.
