| Sharon Kay (Lund) Gentile, 72, of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away Sunday. October 12, 2014 at Care One King James, Middletown, New Jersey. She was born in Anamosa, and graduated from Midland High School in 1960.
Sharon served her country proudly as an airman in the U. S. Air Force from 1963 to 1965. She worked as a baker with Shop Rite, Hazlet before retiring in 2007. Sharon was a great cook and she loved to care for animals. She was compassionate and down to earth. Sharon especially cherished her children.
Sharon was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Gentile in 2008; as well as her parents, Norman J. and Leta M. (Cox) Lund. She is survived by her children, Michael Gentile and his wife Ana of Loganville, Georgia and Christopher and Joseph Gentile, both of Union Beach; five cherished grandchildren (Tony, Alessandra, Alyssa, Paolo and Michael); and two precious great grandchildren, Carlos and Aliyah.
