Cynthia Ann McNeil Salyers

Cynthia Ann Salyers, 41, of Anamosa, Iowa, died Thursday July 17, 2008, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, July 20, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke's Chapel in Cedar Rapids, with the Rev. Dorothy Gerr officiating. The family has honored her wishes and her body has been cremated. Lahey Funeral & Cremation Services in Wyoming was in charge of arrangements.
Cynthia was born on July 7, 1967 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, daughter of Edward Gill and Elizabeth Jean (Plumley) McNeil.
She married Michael Todd Salyers on August 18, 1990 in Joliet, Illinois. Together they had a son, Ryan Michael Salyers.
She loved horses, birds, and Oreos and milk.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Salyers, of Joliet, Illinois; one son, Ryan Michael Salyers, at home; her mother, Elizabeth (Ray) McNeil of King, North Carolina; her father, Ed Gill of Anamosa; one sister, Crystal Renee Gill (& Ken Hayden), of Delhi; maternal grandmother, Helen McMinn, of Anamosa, and paternal grandmother, Beryl Lucker, of Tucson, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers and great grandparents.
