Jerry Linn Mull, 71, of Olin, died March 31, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. A celebration of his life will be held on June 9, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lawrence Center in Anamosa. Jerry was born November 8, 1946, in Anamosa, the son of Homer and Lucille (Axline) Mull. He graduated from Springville High School and worked as a mechanic and a heavy equipment operator, most recently for Ken-Way Sewer and Excavation. He retired in 2014. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He drove stock cars and was a great story teller. Above all he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, Jeff Mull, Anamosa, Joyce (Dave) Busenbark, Marion, Jeannette (Dave) Clark, Olin, Kristine (Kevin) Frane, Hudson, Wisconsin, Shane Mull, Monticello, and Kallie (Derek Steffen) Mull, Earlville; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Mull, Forest Hill, Louisiana; and a sister, Karen Moore, College Park, Maryland. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Joseph “Butch” and Larry, and a sister in infancy Kathy. Submitted by: Janet A. Brandt
