Michael Murray
April 16, 1863–January 10, 1942
T.G. [sic.] Murray Rites Held Tuesday Morning

Michael Murray, who has been seriously ill for the past few months died Saturday afternoon at his farm home east of Oxford Junction.
Mr. Murray was born at Hale on April 16, 1863. In 1895 he was married to Kathryn Mulvihill, who preceded him in death a few years ago. Since 1911 Mr. Murray has farmed four miles east of Oxford Junction.
He is survived by one brother, Tom, of Chicago; two sons, Tom, at home, and Francis, of Rockford, Illinois; one daughter, Mrs. Ray Murtagh, of Rockwell City; and two granddaughters. One son, Edward, preceded him in death last summer.
Funeral services for Mr. Murray were held Tuesday morning at nine o’clock in the Lost Nations Catholic church. Burial was in the Toronto cemetery.
Those from Oxford Junction, who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. John O’Hara, Mrs. Emma Mulvihill, son Jay and daughter Gertrude; and Wm Quirk, Jr.
