| Shirley Jones, 63, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, August 28, 2017.Her family is honoring her wishes, and there will be a private service held at a later date. Lahey and Dawson Funeral Services is assisting the family at this time.Shirley Mae was born on May 28, 1954, to Lawrence and Dorothy (Stecklein) Neumann in Dubuque.She was dedicated to operating the Midland Times for thirty-three years.Those left to cherish her memories are her mother, Dorothy Neumann of Asbury; children, Ben (Jen) Bahl of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Sarah (Thomas) Wells of Lexington, Kentucky; step-children, Tammy (Greg) DeHaai, John Jones, Scott Jones, Loretta (Scott)) Muffett and Charlotte Jones; seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; and sisters, Sheila (Ken) Ludovissy of North Buena Vista.She is preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Neumann, and her husband Wayne Jones.
