| Lorene M. Hartwig, 94, of Anamosa, formerly of Olin, Iowa, passed away on October 24, 2018, at Pinicon Place in Anamosa.A Funeral Service was held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at Lahey and Dawson Funeral Home in Olin. Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., before the service. Burial was held at the Olin Cemetery.Lorene was born on September 17, 1924. In Jones County, Iowa, to Dewey and Nellie (Hurt) Petersen. She was united in marriage to Walter Hartwig who preceded her in death in 1974. She worked at Collins Radio in Cedar Rapids for twenty-nine years.Lorene loved going to the cabin and fishing. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles. Those left to cherish her memories are her brothers, Paul (Neena) Petersen of Knoxville, Tennessee and Dewey (Beckie) Petersen of Winthrop.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter; sister, Velma; four brothers, Richard, Doug, Tom and Fred.
