| John Poduska, 53, of Mechanicsville passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016.Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 16, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mechanicsville. Visitation will be Thursday, September 15 from 4 – 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, a prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Solon following the service.Lahey Funeral Home in Olin is assisting the family.John Francis Poduska, was born on July 18, 1963 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Edward and Louise (Walshire) Poduska. He graduated from Lincoln High School.John enjoyed farming, raising cattle and working on tractors. He loved to grill out and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandson and his puppy “Trigger.”Those left to cherish his memories are his children; Sean (Taylor Brown) Poduska, Stefani (Quinn Williams) Poduska, Jacob Poduska, Adam Poduska, all of Mechanisville; one grandchild Kamdan; brothers Patrick Poduska of Mechanicsville, David (Malinda) Poduska of Lowden, Thomas (Diane) Poduska of Mechanicsville, Tim Poduska of Mechanicsville; and the mother of his children, Kerri Moore of Mechanicsville,He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Theresa and one brother Eddie.
