MRS. QUIGLEY DIES FOLLOWING ACCIDENT
Mrs. Statia Quigley, 75, a former resident of Anamosa, but for the past ten years a resident of Billings, Montana, making her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Loder, met with an accident Sunday, August 31, which resulted in her death about 2 hours later.
The body is being brought to Anamosa for services, which will be held Friday morning at 9 at St. Patrick’s church. Friends may call at the Loder Funeral Home Thursday evening where the rosary will be recited at 8:15.
Those who survive are her three children, Mrs. Georgiana Dockstader, of Portland, Oregon, Mrs. Frances Loder, of Billings, Montana, Louis Quigley of Wawatosa, Wisconsin, one grandson, and one brother, John Powers of Portland, Oregon. Burial will be in the family lot at Holy Cross cemetery.
Friday being the first Friday of the month, confessions will be heard at 7 o’clock, with Holy Communion immediately following. The Quigley funeral will be held at 9 o’clock as stated above.
