| Carol M. Cozart, 81, of Olin, Iowa, died Thursday, December 13, 2012, at Jones Regional Medical Center, Anamosa, Iowa.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Lahey Funeral Home in Olin. Friends called from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Lahey Funeral Home in Olin. Burial was in the Olin Cemetery, Olin, Iowa.
Carol Maxine Rasmussen was born April 1, 1931 in Jones County, Iowa, the daughter of Ernest and Lillie (Hartwig) Rasmussen.
She married Harlan Cozart on June 2, 1948 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. He died on November 14, 2000.
Carol was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Olin. She enjoyed crocheting, bingo and letter writing.
Carol is survived by two daughters; Ranea Cozart of Olin, and Kim (Dan) Corrie, of Centralia, Illinois; one son, Rodney (Kathy) Cozart of Olin; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gaylord (Helen) Rasmussen of DeWitt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a daughter, Margo Brewer on August 17, 2012.
