| Services for Charles Rowell are held
Charles Rowell of Olin died Tuesday, Feb. 17 at the Anamosa Community hospital.
Services were held Thursday, Feb. 19 at 1:30 p.m. at the Hayden Funeral home in Olin. The Rev. Gary Dobbins will officiate.
Pallbearers were Merle Ballou, Harold Becker, William Woolison, Irving Hotz, Leo Fall, Merle Husmann.
He was born on Aug 22 1901, the son of Thomas and Annie Spillit at Thompson. He married Nettie Lloyd on Nov. 2, 1922 at Elmore, Minn.
Mr Rowell is survived by his wife, one niece, Mrs Clifford (Dorothy) Meier of Bellevue; one nephew, Alfred Vozenilek of Maquoketa and three sisters, Mrs Fred (Mae) Selberg of Ledberg, Mrs Alvin (Hazel) Lloyd of Ledyard, and Mrs. Elsie Lloyd of Wyoming, and one brother, Cecil Rowell of Livermore.
