DEATH OF JOHN SCHOON

Amber—August 9—This community was greatly shocked to hear of the sudden death of Mr. Schoon, Monday morning, August 8th. He had had poor health for the past two years, but was not considered dangerous up to the hour of his death. The funeral services were conducted at the German church by Rev. Mardorf. He leaves a wife and five children to mourn his loss. The deceased was born in Germany in the year 1845. Mr. Schoon was a good citizen and a kind neighbor. Peace to his ashes.
