Aaron E. Scott, 30, of Wyoming, Iowa, died on Tuesday morning, April 1, 2014 near Lost Nation, Iowa.
A graveside service and burial celebrating Aaron's life will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the Pence Cemetery, rural Baldwin. The family will receive friends at a reception immediately following the service at the Monmouth Community Center (formerly the Monmouth School). The Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa is caring for the family.
Aaron Edward Scott was born on January 30, 1984 in Maquoketa, Iowa, to Steven Edward and Linda Sue (Bowman) Scott. He was a 2002 graduate of Maquoketa Community High School and then attended Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids. He married Heather Tubbs on May 22, 2008 in Anamosa.
Aaron farmed with his family on the Scott family farm. He loved his pulling truck, hunting, fishing, and ATV Ranger Rides. He also liked tinkering in his shop and was a natural at operating his excavator. He was great at construction and with the help of his friends just built his shop, doing all the insulating, tinning and electrical work. He was a hard worker, loved his family and would do anything for anyone.
Those left to honor Aaron's memory include his wife Heather Scott of Wyoming; children, Trevyn Dean Scott of Wyoming, and Nayeli Kupkowski of Rockford, IL; his parents, Steve and Linda Scott of Baldwin; a brother Mitch Scott of Baldwin; a sister Joellen Scott of Maquoketa; his maternal grandmother, Mary Bowman of Maquoketa; and his paternal grandmother Betty Scott of Maquoketa. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Dean Bowman and paternal grandfather Junior Scott.
