| Norma F. Bodkin, 81, of Olin, Iowa, died Thursday, October 6, 2011, at Jones Regional Medical Center in Anamosa, Iowa.
Graveside services and burial were held on Monday, October 10, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Green Center Cemetery in Morley, Iowa. Visitation was Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lahey Funeral Home in Olin.
Norma Florence Smith was born July 18, 1930 in Hale, Iowa, the daughter of John R. and Elsie (Dean) Smith. She graduated from Olin High School in 1947. She married Daryl "Red" Bodkin on July 25, 1948 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.
Norma worked at Collins Radio in Cedar Rapids for twenty years.
She was a member of Olin Community Methodist Church. She liked to attend the festivals in Arkansas.
Norma is survived by her husband, Daryl "Red" Bodkin of Olin; three children, Trudy (Randy) Fisher and Barry Bodkin of Olin, and John Bodkin of Largo, Florida; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.
