| David Stafford, 43, of Wyoming, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at his home.
Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Lahey Funeral Home in Wyoming, Iowa. Family and friends may call on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lahey Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Wyoming Cemetery.
David Stafford was born April 11, 1970 in Maquoketa , Iowa to Guy Stafford and Janet (Willman) Stafford Becthold. He attended Midland Community School and he was a mechanic for Lou Summerville for many years.
He loved to fish, listen to rock music, play chess and the harmonica.
David could rig anything mechanically and had a habit of making new friends everywhere he would go. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Children sure put a smile on his face.
David is survived by his parents of Wyoming, one daughter, Ashley Petersen of Olin, two sisters, Amee Stafford of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Angie Stafford of Cedar Rapids and one brother Jimmie (Rose) Stafford of Lennix, Alabama, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
