Kileen Sue Starry Takes

Kileen S. Takes, 51, of Hopkinton, formerly of Olin, died Friday, March 30, 2012, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa.
Memorial Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Lahey Funeral Home in Olin, with Rev. Ginger Anderson officiating. Her body was cremated. Friends called from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lahey Funeral Home in Olin. Burial was in the Olin Cemetery, Olin, Iowa.
Kileen Sue Starry was born on October 6, 1960 in Anamosa, Iowa, the daughter of Don and Jerie (Catlett) Starry. She graduated from Olin High School.
Kileen worked at Subway in Monticello. She was a member of the Olin Lutheran Church and Olin Ladies Auxiliary. Kileen enjoyed riding motorcycles with her fiance and cooking.
Kileen is survived by her two sons, Jesse Takes of Monticello and Michael Hicks-Takes of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; her fiance, Roger Shady of Hopkinton; her parents, Don and Jerie Starry of Monticello; a sister, Karen (Brent) Podhaski of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; and a brother, Don (Roxane) Starry of Hartland, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
