Charlotte E. Swenson Klatt

Charlotte E. Klatt, 92, of Clarence, died February 4, 2012, at Clarence Nursing Home.
Funeral services were held February 8 at 11 a.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ, Clarence. Visitation was from 4 - 6 p.m. Tuesday at Chapman Funeral Home, Clarence. Burial was in the Olin Cemetery.
Charlotte was born September 1, 1918 at Olin, the daughter of Michael Swenson and Eva (Easterly) Swenson. She married Henry Klatt June 5, 1942 at Olin. He died August 22, 1995.
Charlotte taught at Clarence and Olin Schools for a combined twenty-nine years, until retiring in 1980.
She was a member of the church, Women's Fellowship, Order of the Eastern Star, Partners in Study Club, the American Legion Auxiliary, and after retirement she volunteered weekly at the Clarence Nursing Home.
She is survived by a son, Steve (Chrystal) of Olin; a daughter, Sybil Klatt of Madison, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Eric Klatt, Michael (Carrie) Klatt, Nicole (Brian) Tenley, and Stephanie (Bryan) Adams; seven great grandchildren, Austin and Abby Tinhley; Tyler, Trae and Tiffany Klatt; Henry and Jason Adams; a sister, Beverly (Alan) Rohwedder of Olin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, a sister, and two brothers-in-law.
