| Jessie E. Brown, 65, of Olin, Iowa, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Jones Regional Medical Center, Anamosa, Iowa.
Graveside services and burial were held on Friday, March 12, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Prairieburg Boulder Cemetery in Prairieburg, Iowa. Family and friends called on Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Lahey Funeral Home in Olin.
Jessie E. Taylor was born March 15, 1944, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Andrew Guy and Stella (Mentzer) Taylor. She graduated from Central City High School in 1962. She married Robert Lee Brown on March 7, 1964. He died on October 30, 1994.
Jessie worked at Communication Data Services in Tipton, retiring due to her health in 2003. She enjoyed garage sales, gardening, fishing, word search puzzles, and Bingo.
She is survived by four children, Bobby (Sandra Holmes) Brown of Mt. Vernon, Sandra Brown of Olin, Patty (Paul) Oberbreckling of Anamosa, and Buddy (Teri Miller) Brown of Washington; five grandchildren; two sisters, Zelda (Bill) Huster of Cauldfield, Missouri, and Edith (Ken) Werling of Amber; and one brother, Ray (Clara) Taylor of Central City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one sister.
