Mrs. Elizabeth Krueger died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G. N. Harken, at five o 'clock on Saturday afternoon, aged 81 years and 5 months. Elizabeth Twamley was born in County Wicklow, Ireland, on April 17, 1823, and in 1841 was married to Robert Hopkins who died three years later. In 1852 she was married to Ernest Krueger and in 1855 she came to Iowa and settled on the farm in Castle Grove that was to be her home for nearly half a century. Her husband died in the autumn of 1885, but the deceased continued to reside on the old homestead until last March when she went to live with the daughter in whose home she passed peacefully away at the ripe old age of over four score years. Three children, a brother and two sisters are left to mourn her death. The children are Mrs. G. N. Harken of this township, and William and Charles Krueger of Doon. The funeral was held from the Congregational church in Monticello, of which the deceased had long been a member, on Tuesday afternoon. The funeral services were conducted by Rev.
