Nancy L. Volk Clark

Nancy L. Clark, 74, died suddenly Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at her home in Gulfport, Mississippi.
She was born November 25, 1938, and was adopted as a toddler by George and Hilda (Witt) Volk. She grew up in Oxford Junction, Iowa, where she married Albert R. Clark in 1955.
She enjoyed reading, painting, her computer and traveling. She lived with her oldest son in Hawaii for seven years, and then shared time between her second son in Mississippi, and her daughter in Texas from 1996 until her death. In her early years of retirement, she visited family and friends all over the U. S. and Germany.
She is survived by her daughter Laura, and sons Thomas, Richard, Clayton and David; nine grandchildren and four adopted grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; her son Robin; and her brother James.
A memorial service is planned for a later date in Oxford Junction, with burial at Oakland Cemetery in Clinton, Iowa.
