| MONTICELLO—Funeral services for Mrs. Henry (Eliza Wilhelmine) Tobiason, 75, were held Monday afternoon at Wayne Zion Lutheran church. The Rev. Harvey O. Gilbertson officiated. Interment was in Oakwood cemetery.
Mrs. Tobiason died suddenly at her farm home November 21. She was born in Castle Grove township May 24, 1894, the daughter of Gerhard and Grace Zimmerman. She received her education in Monticello area schools.
She married Henry Tobiason at Wayne Zion Lutheran church April 10, 1917. The couple had always farmed in Wayne township.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, three step-sisters and two step-brothers.
Survivors include her husband; five children, Mrs. Ervin (Alice) Poppe of Monticello, Mrs. Kenneth (Berniece) Bull of Wilmington, Illinois, Mrs. Richard (Pauline) Antons of Center Junction, George H. of Monticello and Mrs. Kenneth (Marilyn) Streeper of Anamosa.
Also eleven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Anna Siebels of Scotch Grove; a step-brother, R. H. Helgens; three half-brothers, Herman Helgens, Ed L. Helgens and Louis Helgens, all of Monticello.
Casketbearers were Clifford Helgens, Harvey Siebels, Harvey Stutt, Richard Schoon, Galen Helgens and Harry Stutt.
