Put up the log way in the forenoon & I was to Abb Suttons in the after noon - 1 day - 12 1/2

I was down to Pete Potters in the morning & at home the rest of the day

Monday, November 12th

I was to Onslow today came back with Wm Carr

Tuesday, November 13th

I was a husking corn - 1 day 13 1/2

Wednesday, November 14th

Pleasant but cold - Settlement $5,00 my due - I was to Duncinsons to see Archie he commited suicide

Cold & dry - I was to Archie Dunkinsons funeral

Friday, November 16th

I was up to Wm Carrs in the fore noon then sawed slabs in the after noon 1/2 day - I was up to John Curleys to a raffel

I made a calf pen and husked corn to day

I was up to Dock Hannas in the fore noon then home - the old folks went to Monticello

Monday, November 19th

I got me a hog to day & butchered it

Tuesday, November 20th

I was a shingleing for John Herington 1 day

Wednesday, November 21st

Stormy - I made a flour chest - Bell & Lizzie cleaned house

Thursday, November 22nd

I was a makeing a cupboard

Friday, November 23rd

I was to the grave yard & made the fence

Saturday, November 24th

I sawed slabs in the fore noon - I was a makeing the cupboard to day a gain 1/2 day

Sunday, November 25th

I was around home

I was to work at the Pantry

Putting up some shelves - By Hall brought me some hay

Wednesday, November 28th

I walked to Charleys & him and me went to Maquoketa I bought me a stove

Thursday, November 29th

I helped Charley to pick a load of corn then he brought me and my stove home

Pleasant - I was getting things over to my house
