Thanksgiving - I cut wood forenoon & it begun to mist

The first tracking snow this morning - I made a wagon tongue for Koppes & filed a saw for Lue Mead

I made a sand board & a reach for Bart

I went a hunting got 4 rabbits

4 Below - I cut a little wood forenoon then went to Canton with W. N. Tippett

Cold - I cut wood forenoon & made a watter trough for Tady Milan afternoon

Cold to day - Around home forenoon then I cut a little wood

It snowed some last night - Tom Hamilton & i went a hunting got 14 rabbits i got 6 - It is snowing this eve - Filed a saw for Jas Eckler

It snowed hard part of the day - I made 1 section of track for Mill Carriage

At home most all day - I went up in the brush a while shot 2 rabbits & 1 skunk - Filed a saw for Jas Flanigan

I was a hunting got 2 rabbits fore noon & 5 after noon

Wednesday, December 8th

Warm - Shot 1 rabbit forenoon & 7 afternoon - 20 in all

Edie & I went to Onslow

It rained hard thunder & lightening - The ice went out of the creek last night - We cleaned out the well

At home - Made a wagon reach for Wm Fletcher

I helped Tom Hamilton to pile up some poles a while in the forenoon then he drawed the 4 loads then it begun to snow hard - I filed a saw for Cornnell

I went to Canton for medicine for Ora - I sawed & split some wood afternoon

I choped some cord wood forenoon Jacks folks was over to day

Thursday, December 16th

5 Below - I finished a cord of wood for Tom Hamilton - I filed a saw for Wig Duffy

Friday, December 17th

Snow this morning - I was over to Jack Orrs to help him to paper his kitchen

Saturday, December 18th

I stayed to Jacks last night - I went to Onslow to day back with T Hamilton

Sunday, December 19th

At home all day - We had a keg of beer last night at Frank Mc's expense

Monday, December 20th

It snowed last night & part of the forenoon - I sawed & split wood forenoon then I went a hunting got 4 rabbits

18 Below Z - I cut some wood - It snowed part of the afternoon

14 Below - I was sawing & splitting wood - I made Bart a door for shanty

14 Below - I went to Cascade with W. N. Tippett

14 Below - I sawed wood forenoon - Went to School afternoon they had a Christmas tree at school - Harry came at noon we all went to the Church to the Christmas tree

Warm - Around home forenoon - Rese & Dave & Harry & I went a hunting i got 1 rabbit

Sunday, December 26th

Pleasant & warm - Old Mrs English died this morning - Bell & I took Clifford to Canton to see the Doctor we took the cutter

I was tending to Clifford forenoon - Harry & I went a hunting got 2 rabbits

I was to Mrs. Englishs funeral

Wednesday, December 29th

We was a hunting again forenoon got 2 squirrels - I helped Tom Hamilton to saw wood

Thursday, December 30th

I went to Onslow with Tom Hamilton - Harry went to stay all night with Leon

Friday, December 31st

Colder - I was chopping some wood out by the Sugar House - I paid rent to Roy
