At home makeing Edie a cradel - I was puting stantions for Jim Lee in the after noon

Wednesday, December 9th

I finished up to Lees to day it snowed hard most all day

Thursday, December 10th

I was around home & sawing slabs

Friday, December 11th

I was helping Ed Hart to put up a calf shead

Saturday, December 12th

At home put in a sled tongue for Tom Hamilton it snowed all day

Sunday, December 13th

We was to Toms to dinner Monday, December 14th

20 below zero - I was to Onslow with Tom Hamilton very cold & pleasant

Tuesday, December 15th

I was stoping up windows & doors in the saw mill in fore noon 1/2 day - worked for Ed Hart in after noon - pleasant to day

Wednesday, December 16th

Hanging doors & shingleing - pleasant

Thursday, December 17th

I begun Barts sled & finished the shingleing

Friday, December 18th

Working at sleds

Saturday, December 19th

Working at the sleds 4 1/2 days this week

Sunday, December 20th

At home all day

Monday, December 21st

Working at the sleds

I finished the sleds at noon 1/2 day - I worked on Tom Heffrons wagon hounds

Thursday, Decemebr 24th

At home all day - pleasant

Friday, Decemebr 25th

We was to Barts to dinner & to Charleys to supper - pleasant & warm

Saturday, December 26th

I begun a pair of bob sleighs for Tom Hamilton 1 day - 2 1/2 days for Bart

Sunday, December 27th

At home all day

Monday, December 28th

At work at Toms sleds - raining to night

Tuesday, December 29th

Jessie Young died this fore noon - misty to day

Wednesday, Decemebr 30th

It rained all night - I was around home all day - the river is raising - Jessie's funeral - It rained & snowed all day

Thursday, December 31st

I was to work at Toms sleds
