We was up to Mr Carrs a while then home - W. N. Tippett was here to dinner

I was helping to fence the hay stacks & garden It began to snow

Tuesday, November 30th

I was after the mail & home again at work on Wms sleds

Wednesday, December 1st

I was to work at the sleds Jack Orr was here in after noon - it is very cold to day

Thursday, December 2nd

I was working at the sleds to day Tom Heffron brought his sled to get fixed - very cold to day 12 below zero - Rilla was here all day - I worked this after noon on Toms sleds

Friday, December 3rd

Worked all day on Toms sled

Saturday, December 4th

Worked all day on Toms sled

Sunday, December 5th

I went to Cascade with Wm Reyners - D. B. Bean died to day

Monday, December 6th

I worked at Toms sleds in fore noon & helped J. Lee to kill hogs after noon

Tuesday, December 7th

I was to Onslow with Oren Snyder

Wednesday, December 8th

Chopping wood in Wm Carrs pasture very pleasant to day - Derbin Bean was burried to day

Thursday, December 9th

I was to Cascade with J. Lee - very pleasant

Friday, December 10th

I was working at Wm Reyners sleds - very foggy & misty

Saturday, December 11th

I was working at Wms sleds - warm & mudy - I had a raffel tonight 26 chickens sold - Jo & Vickey came to day (EDITOR'S NOTE: his wife's sister and her husband Joe French)

Sunday, December 12th

Bell & me went down to the crick to W. N. Tippetts - 55 years old to day - very mudy & some rain - Bell stayed all night

Monday, December 13th

I was at work on the selds part of the day

Tuesday, December 14th

I was down to the mill helped W.N.T. to butcher - it snowed to day some getting cold

Wednesday, December 15th

I finished W Reyners sleds - I went to the mill & back

Thursday, December 16th

I was chopping some wood on W Carrs in fore noon - at home after noon - Jo French & wife & Rilla & Lizzie was here

Friday, December 17th

It snowed this morning & all day

Saturday, December 18th

I was down after the mail & back - Jo & Vickie went to the crick - Sam Neelan helped me to draw some wood - it snowed some

Sunday, Decemebr 19th

At home & down to Lees a little while - Lonie & Ray was here a while

Monday, December 20th

At home chopping wood

Tuesday, December 21st

To Onslow with Will Mc I was to Mike Lawless to a raffel got 2 chickens

Wednesday, December 22nd

I fixed Jack Duffys sled

Thursday, December 23rd

I put up Tom Heffrons rafters in fore noon then put a runer on Peter Smiths sled 25 cts then went to the crick with Jim Lee

Friday, December 24th

At home all day Bell & children went home this after noon to stay all night

Saturday, December 25th

I was a hunting a while in fore noon & up to Carrs a while & home the rest of the day alone - it snowed

Sunday, December 26th

I was to Lees a while & to Atkinsons & home then I was down to the crick - it snowed most all day

Monday, December 27th

32 below zero very cold - at home all day

Tuesday, December 28th

I helped Jim Lee to drive his steers to Canton then back & went to the crick - fixed Mike Dorans sled

Wedneday, December 29th

I was cutting some wood at home in fore noon & down to the crick after noon - cold all the week

Thursday, December 30th

I was chopping in fore noon & was working at a bob sled for Mike Lawless

Friday, December 31st

I was working at the sled in fore noon got done watered the cattle after noon & stayed to home blustering to day
